Nuno Henrique (Funchal, 1982) Lives and works between Portugal and New York.

In 2005, he graduated in Sculpture at FBAUP and in 2008 was production assistant at Porta 33. Between 2009/2010 attended the Individual Project at Ar.Co, Lisbon and in 2016, he completed a Master of Fine Arts at Pratt Institute, NY. His work has focused mainly on the combination of sculpture and drawing. He exhibits regularly since 2009. In 2020 he presented the exhibition "Fruta Feia" at Módulo, Lisbon; in 2019 he participated in Ilhéstico with the work "O Mar Vertical", curated by Miguel von Hafe Pérez, Porta 33, Funchal. He was a grantee of the following institutions: Ar.Co/Porta 33, 2009/10; Centro Nacional de Cultura, 2011; Fundación Botín, Santander, 2012; Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian 2012 - 2014/2016. His work is represented in several public and private collections.
