Biography of Rui Horta Pereira

Rui Horta Pereira, Évora 1975, graduated in Sculpture by FBAUL, in 2000, his work is centred mainlyin sculpture and drawing.
In all aspects, being them ethical social or environmental, this artist’s creativeprocess is not dissociated from his action allowing a successful relation and a final result.
Represented by 3+1 Gallery, Lisbon, he has had various individual and collective exhibitions and have been supported by some institutions like Gulbenkian Foundation and DGARTES.
His work is also represented in some private and public collections like Tróia Design Hotel Contemporary Art Collection, Regina Pinho Collection, Brasil, Colección Art Fairs SL, Spain. Some of his individual exhibitions took place in: Turbit, 3+1 Gallery Lisbon 2014; Around, Quadrum Gallery, Lisbon 2013; Remanescente 3+1 Gallery, Lisbon 2011; O Frágil culto do desenho, Torres Vedras 2011; Tudo aquilo que cair da mesa para o chão, Quase Gallery, OPorto 2010; Linda Fantasia, Carpe Diem-Arte e Pesquisa, Lisbon; Fio de Mão, Espaço Avenida, Lisbon; Artificializar, Giefarte, Lisbon 2009.
