Weeping Loop was thought of and conceived during the first semester of twenty twenty-four. It is a mobile objectified polyptych, made of aluminum, wood, mirror, iron, plastic and linen canvas painted with acrylic paints, roughly two hundred centimeters high by one hundred and twenty centimeters wide and thirty-one centimeters deep. It has the volumetric presence of something else (the renowned Armário located at one twenty-eight Calçada da Estrela), therefore simultaneously being a presence and an absence: an image – a quantic intertwining.
In a less materialistic framework, it takes us back to a primeval negotiation – which is always doomed – between the emotional unpredictability and the mechanical repetitions or the chemical certainties.
