Regional de Artistas of Colombia. Currently he is an Associate Professor of Fine Arts at the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Bogotá.
Felipe Arturo has participated in group exhibitions such as Beyond the Supersquare, curated by Maria Ines Rodriguez and Holly Block, at the Bronx Museum, New York, USA (2014); Nouvelles Vagues (exhibition design) at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France; Gallerie im Ratskeller, Berlin, Germnay; Trópico Entrópico, Lugar a Dudas, Cali, Colombia, and 43 Salón (inter) Nacional de Artistas in Medellín, Colombia (2013); Mientras sea possible, Casa de America, Madrid, Spain (2010) The Happiness of Objects at the Sculpture Center, New York, USA (2007); Nuevos Nombres in Biblioteca Luis Angel Arango, Bogotá, Colombia (2005), among others.

The following solo exhibitions are highlighted as well: Trópico Entrópico, at the first International Biennial of Contemporary Art; Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, (2014), having as well presented projects at Nara Roesler Gallery, São Paulo; Bienal do Arte Naif in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil (2012), and having also had solo exhibitions at OMR Gallery in Mexico (2010), and Galeria La Central de Bogotá, Colombia, in 2012.

Arturo produced specific interventions at Bogota´s Botanical Garden (2004), Museo de Arte Banco de la República (2011) or Museo Amparo, Puebla (2010).
His work is represented in several Collections such as Jumex Collection (México, D.F., Mexico); Museo Amparo (Puebla, Mexico); Colección Art Nexus (Bogotá, Colombia); Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros (New York, USA; Caracas, Venezuela); Colección Suramericana (Medellín, Colombia); Colección Banco de la República (Bogotá, Colombia); Kadist Art Foundation (San Francisco, USA).
